Peach French Toast
June 2009
1 cup brown sugar 5 eggs ½ cup butter 1 ½ cup milk 2 tsp water cinnamon to taste 16 oz frozen peaches 3 tsp vanilla 6-10 slices French bread
Melt butter. Add brown sugar & water, melt until smooth. Pour into sprayed 9 x 13 dish. Drain peaches & pour over syrup. Layer bread over the peaches. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla & cinnamon then pour over the bread. Can be covered & refrigerated overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes. To serve, invert peach-topped slices onto plates. "Happy Father's Day" |
